Inscribed to the inside top, "Valentino de Zorzi fece in Firenzi A. 1889." Labeled to the inside top, "Valentinus de Zorzi Cenetensi Venetum fecit Florentiæ A. 1889." Inscribed to the inside back, “Rinforzato e riparato in Firenze da me Iginius Sderci Florentiae anno 1968 Igino Sderci." Inscribed underneath the fingerboard, "Valentino de Zorzi fece in Firenzi A. 1889."
Branded four times to the inside back, to the upper block, to the inside top, above the saddle, underneath the fingerboard, to the lower rib and to the button, "V. D. Z." The neck detached.
