Branded to the button, lower rib, upper block, twice to the inside top, and twice to the inside back, "GG." Inscribed to the inside top, "Gaetano Gadda fece in Mantova en 1955." Inscribed to the upper bass rib, "Gaddo Gaetano 1955."
