Labeled, "Gajectanus Santagiuliana fecit. Vicentiae anno 1802."
This violin appears in the inventory of both the Rudolph Wurlitzer and William Moennig & Son firms as the work of Gaetano Santagiuliana. It was purchased by Wurlitzer from the Hills in 1939 and then was sold by Wurlitzer to Moennig in 1942.
